What we collect

Windmill Records collects only what's needed to run the label. Depending on how you interact with the site, that may include:

• Name, email, and track link when you submit a demo through the submission form.
• Email address if you subscribe to our newsletter.
• Name, email, signature, and technical metadata (IP address, browser user-agent, timestamps) if you sign a release contract with us.

How we use it

Demo submissions are reviewed by our A&R team and used solely to evaluate your music and respond to you. Newsletter emails are used only to send occasional label updates. Contract data (including the audit trail of IP/user-agent/timestamps) is kept as the legal record of signed agreements between you and Windmill Records.

We don't sell your data, and we don't share it with third parties beyond the service providers that power the site (hosting, database, email delivery, spam protection) — each of whom only processes data on our behalf.

How long we keep it

Demo submissions and related correspondence are kept for as long as they're useful for A&R review, or until you ask us to delete them. Contract records are retained as required for legal and business purposes.

Your rights

You can ask us what data we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it (subject to what we're legally required to keep, such as signed contracts). To make a request, email windmillrecordscr@gmail.com.
